Shrewsbury burglaries may be linked
Police today appealed for witnesses to three burglaries in different parts of Shrewsbury which they believe may be linked.

The three burglaries were carried out during daylight hours at homes in London Road, South Hermitage in Belle Vue and Lyth Hill Road, Bayston Hill.
A door window was smashed to break into the London Road home between 1.15pm and 4.30pm and a red Samsung digital camera worth about £150 was stolen.
In South Hermitage, burglars struck between 8.30am and 1pm by forcing a window. Nothing is thought to have been stolen.
But gold jewellery and watches worth nearly £3,000 were taken from the home in Lyth Hill Road after French doors were forced between 8.30am and 12pm.
Items stolen included a men's gold oyster Rolex watch engraved on the back with "JT Ltd. Long Service 1966"; a gold coloured Accurist watch with a disc type chain strap; a gold charm bracelet with three disc charms; a man's chunky gold signet ring with "CAB" engraved on the front; a woman's gold buckle ring; and a gold ring with three garnets or rubies.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: "We would welcome any information regarding these three burglaries.
"Suspicious activity spotted at any of the locations should be reported to Shrewsbury police station by calling 101 and anyone offered property of the type stolen in dubious circumstances should also contact the police."
Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
