Donnington residents have the chance to share their views and find out more about what’s happening in their local area at a community engagement event on 27th September.

The event, organised by the Donnington Partnership Charitable Trust, is an open session for members of the public to ask questions and learn more about life in their community. Guests will have the chance to discuss topics including welfare benefit advice, security and housing with attendees from partner agencies including Donnington Police, Health & Education advisors and Telford & Wrekin Council.

In addition, guest speaker Angela Crompton, Practice Manager at Donnington Medical Practice will be giving an update on the new building plans for the Health Centre and newly formed ‘Patients Reference Group’.

The event is open to local residents, service providers and community group members, and will be held at Turreff Hall, Turreff Avenue, Donnington from 11.30am-12.45pm on Thursday 27th September 2012.

Ben Murphy, Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Donnington Partnership says: “We’re hoping for a good turnout to the event, as it’s a great way for members of the public to share their views and speak to a number of different partner agencies regarding any issues or concerns.”
