Man shot at in Telford with pellet gun
Police are investigating an incident in Telford after a man was injured by a pellet from an air weapon while he was at work.

The incident happened near to woodland in Holyhead Road in Ketley .
The 55 year-old victim was driving a digger in a wooded area when he was hit in the arm with a pellet from an air weapon at around 4pm on Monday 3 September near to woodland in Holyhead Road in Ketley
The man had to visit hospital, where the pellet was removed.
A Telford Police spokeswoman said: "It is believed that the firing of an air weapon had been going on for most of the afternoon in that area. However, the matter was not reported to police until after the victim suffered an injury.
"It is thought that whoever fired the weapon may have aimed at the window of the digger. However, there was no pane of glass in the front of the digger so the pellet went into the driver's arm.
"The area is very popular with dog walkers so we are eager to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw or heard anything that could help us with our investigation."
Police are investigating the matter and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Any information should be passed to Police Constable Maurice Wright on 101. Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
