Man charged over stabbing in Dawley area of Telford

A 34-year-old man has today been charged by police with grievous bodily harm over a stabbing which took place in the Dawley area of Telford at the weekend.

A 36 year-old man was found with stab wounds following an incident in Harp Lane, Dawley at around 4.10am on Sunday.

The incident took place following an earlier altercation in the Three Furnaces pub which involved the victim.

The victim remains in hospital following the incident.
