Thieves take jewellery worth more than £4,000 during Ludlow burglary
Jewellery worth more than £4,000, including an engagement ring, has been stolen during a burglary at a Ludlow home.

Thieves broke into a house in New Road between 9am and 11.50am yesterday by forcing a window.
They search various rooms and made off with jewellery including rings, bracelets, a silver twist chain and earrings.
One of the items was a Leo collection platinum c-class carat ring worth £2,500. The haul also included a Tandanite rare stone charm bracelet, a £1,000 diamond ring, a blue sapphire ring and a nine carat gold cluster ring.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area yesterday morning. Contact Ludlow police station on 101.
"We are also urging anyone offered jewellery for sale in dubious circumstances to notify the police. The thieves will almost certainly be trying to pass on the stolen jewellery for cash."
Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
