South Shropshire man arrested over drugs and firearms offences
A 44-year-old man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of drugs and firearms offences following a search warrant carried out at a home in a village near Ludlow.
The warrant was conducted by officers at the property in Knowbury on September 20 under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Various items were seized including suspected Class B drugs and four rounds of ammunition.
A 43-year-old woman was arrested at the time and given police bail while further enquiries are made.
The man, who attended Shrewsbury police station yesterday for interview, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Controlled drug, cannabis resin with intent to supply and also on suspicion of unlawful possession of ammunition.
He has also been bailed pending further investigations.
