Police in Telford are appealing for witnesses after three men smashed the front windows of a house in Wellington just over a week ago.

Three men smash windows of house in Wellington

At just after 11pm on Tuesday 20 November, two vehicles pulled up outside a property on Roseway and three men got out of them. The three approached the property and then used a wooden implement of some sort to smash several windows at the front of the house.

Having smashed the windows, causing at least £1,500 of damage to the house, the men got back into their vehicles and then made off at speed.

A police spokesman said: "The two vehicles are described as a blue coloured Mini with a Union Jack on the roof and a small black car of some sort.

"Officers investigating this incident have conducted extensive house-to-house enquiries in the area and are now keen to hear from anyone who may have seen these two vehicles in the Roseway area on the night in question.

"They are also keen to hear from anyone who may know why a property on Roseway was targeted in this way.

"Anyone with information about this incident, or who saw the two cars in the area at around the time this incident occurred, is asked to contact police in Telford on 101 or 0300 333 3000, quoting reference number 642S 201112.

"Alternatively, please remember Crimestoppers can also be called anonymously on 0800 555 111 if you'd rather leave information without getting directly involved yourself."
