Arrest made following Shrewsbury drug warrant
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after police carried out a warrant at his home in Shrewsbury this morning.

Several officers attended the address in Kynaston Road, Harlescott at 9am as part of ongoing work by the Safer Neighbourhood Team to tackle drug concerns in the area.
Eight small bags of white powder, believed to be cocaine worth about £200 and associated suspected drug paraphernalia were recovered during a search of the address.
The 51-year-old remains in custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply at Shrewsbury Police Station and will be interviewed in due course.
Police Constable Andy Hawkins, Safer Neighbourhood Officer for Harlescott, said his team would continue to target those suspected of dealing drugs on the estate and it was a PACT (Partners and Communities Together) priority.
"Drug-dealing is one of the main concerns for residents and it will not be tolerated by police," he said.
"We have carried out several drug warrants prior to this one over the past few months and will continue to do so until the message gets across that there is no place for drug dealers in Harlescott.
"The more information we get from the public, the quicker we can take actions so please call either the police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers number about any suspicious activity you see."
