Post mortem to take place on Alveley fire victim
A post mortem examination is due to take place today on a man found dead following a devastating fire at a home in Alveley, near Bridgnorth.

West Mercia Police say, formal identification of the man is yet to take place but he is believed to be Victor Narburgh, who was in his 70s and lived at the bungalow destroyed in the blaze.
Police were called to the address in Birds Green shortly before 4pm on Wednesday, buy which time Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service was already in attendance and the home was well alight.
The body believed to be that of Mr Narburgh was found by firefighters tackling the blaze shortly after they arrived and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detective Inspector Mark Bellamy, who is leading the investigation, renewed an appeal for anyone who was in the area when the fire started between about 3pm and 3.30pm and who may have information which could help the police investigation to get in touch on 101.
"At this stage the cause of the fire is still not known and police detectives and forensic officers are working closely with investigators from Shropshire Fire and Rescue to establish how it started," he said.
Formal identification is anticipated to take place sometime in the coming days with an inquest opened by the Shropshire Coroner John Ellery soon after.
The fire continues to be treated as unexplained and is subject to a police investigation.
The house remains cordoned off with a police scene guard in place while examinations take place.
