Two arrested as car is ‘Stung’ by police in Newport
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of a series of offences, including burglary and assaulting police after officers were called to a North Shropshire service station.

Staff at Adastra Services in Tern Hill phoned police at about 1.30pm this afternoon to report a man they suspected had carried out a burglary at the shop the previous evening had returned.
When officers arrived, he had left the scene in a maroon-coloured Rover 45 car and was reported to have driven down the A41 towards Newport.
Officers from the Force Operations Support Team (FOST), Response and Central Motorways Police Group attended the area between Tern Hill and junction three of the M54.
Attempts were made to stop the vehicle on the A41 Newport bypass at about 2pm and Sergeant Jeff Morris, from FOST, said a ‘stinger' was deployed at the junction of the A41 and the A418.
He said: "Both the driver and passenger, who are from the Wolverhampton area, were arrested on suspicion of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, burglary, assaulting police and public order offences.
"They remain in police custody at this time and will be interviewed in due course."
The Rover, which has an 02 registration, had been reported stolen from the Park House Hotel in Shifnal at about 5pm on Thursday 13th December 2012.
Sergeant Morris added: "We are also keen to hear from anyone who might have seen this vehicle between the times it was reported stolen and when it was stopped by police near Newport the following day.
"Anyone with information that could help our investigation is asked to contact police on 101."
