Inquest to open on Bagley Marsh fire victim
An inquest will today be opened on the teenage girl who died in a house fire at Bagley Marsh, near Ellesmere on Saturday night.
Shropshire coroner Mr John Ellery will conduct the hearing at 2.10pm in the coroner's office at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital mortuary.
He will hear evidence of identification before adjourning the inquest to a future date.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances but have said that at this stage, they do not believe anyone else was involved.
Two other adults were in the property at the time of the fire but managed to safely leave the property.
