Telford man fined for failure to pay dog foul fine
A Telford resident who allowed his dog to foul on grass and refused to pick it up has been fined £200 by a court.

Martin Taylor, of Blakemore, Brookside, subsequently did not pay a fixed penalty notice that was issued relating to the offence, which resulted in today’s (THU DEC 21) prosecution.
Telford magistrates was told that Mr Taylor was spotted by a community support officer walking his dog in Brookside Avenue on the morning of July 5.
He allowed the dog to foul on a grassed area near the entrance to Blakemore. The community support officer approached him and asked if he had a bag to clear the foul up.
Mr Taylor said “no” and walked away and the community support officer later served a fixed penalty notice on him.
Today Mr Taylor did not attend court and magistrates found the case proven in his absence.
Mr Taylor was fined £200 with £300 costs with a standard £15 victim surcharge.
