The car driver who died is believed to from the south-west of England died following the collision at around 1.40pm on Saturday afternoon.

He was driving a silver Volkswagen Golf GT TDI on the A458 at Harley Bank near Much Wenlock when in collision with a white Scania articulated tanker.

The Golf was travelling towards Shrewsbury and the lorry in the opposite direction when the collision happened near the top of the Bank.
