Man seriously injured in collision near Shrewsbury
A man in his 40s sustained serious head and chest injuries last night after being hit by a car which overturned near Shrewsbury.
The incident happened in Windsor Lane, Bomere Heath at around 6.15pm.
The man was sedated at the scene due to the nature of his injuries by a doctor, working with a rapid response paramedic and ambulance crew.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, accompanied by the doctor.
His condition at the time was said to be serious.
