Thieves steal diesel from Telford company
Thieves have stolen over 2000 litres of diesel worth more than £3000 from a Telford coach and bus hire company.
The break in happened sometime between 7.30pm and 9.30pm yesterday. The thieves entered the compound on Hortonwood 50 by removing three spikes from the outer fence that surrounds it.
They then entered the compound and then siphoned diesel from 14 coaches that were parked up inside.
Tyre tracks left at the scene appear to suggest the thieves used a van or small truck of some sort to carry out the theft.
Anyone with information about this theft, especially anyone who may have seen a suspicious vehicle on Hortonwood 50 last night, is asked to call police in Telford on 101 or 0300 333 3000 quoting incident number 564S 060113.
