By-elections for council seats in Telford & Wrekin

By-elections will take place to fill vacancies that have arisen on Telford & Wrekin Council and Great Dawley Parish Council.

The vacancy for the Dawley Magna ward of Telford & Wrekin Council and the seat on Great Dawley Parish Council has arisen following the death of Councillor Brian Duce on Christmas Eve.

The period for submitting a nomination to be a candidate at these elections closes at 12 noon on Friday 18 January 2013.

Poll cards will be issued to all electors to let them know the locations of the polling stations which will be open from 7am to 10pm.
