Police investigate aggravated burglary in Leegomery
Police in Telford are investigating after an aggravated burglary in Dalby Close, Leegomery on Saturday.
At around 11.45pm, a group of men playing on a games console at the address heard a window in one of the patio doors at the back smash.
Before they had time to react, four male intruders forced their way in through the doors and then threatened the men with baseball bats and a metal pole of some sort.
While the men who had been playing on the games console were being threatened, two of the intruders went upstairs, carried out a search and then took a number of items from rooms on the first floor.
Among the items taken were two Apple iPhones, while a man who was upstairs as the intruders carried out their search was hit a number of times by them.
The two intruders who had been upstairs then came back down and although a brief altercation took place - in which several punches were thrown - the four intruders quickly made off on foot and fled the scene.
As soon as the intruders left the property the victims immediately called the police.
A police spokesman said: "This is an unusual incident and police officers are attempting to establish the exact circumstances surrounding it.
