A 25-year-old woman appeared at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday following a stabbing in the Trench area of Telford on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old victim and a friend had left the Duke of York pub to go to the Dun Cow when they became involved in the altercation near the second pub.
The man suffered a serious stomach wound and was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke where he underwent a four-hour operation. His condition is now stable.
Marie Dawn Watton, who lives at Trench Road, Trench, was arrested in connection with the late night assault and was charged with section 18 wounding (with intent to do grievous bodily harm).
She is due to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday 28 January.
Three others, a 21-year-old woman and two men aged 20 and 22, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and have since been released on police bail.
