Police investigate incidents of robbery and assault in Shrewsbury
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after three men were assaulted in separate incidents while walking in Shrewsbury town centre at the weekend.

The incidents - a robbery, attempted robbery and an assault causing injury - happened during a four-hour period on Saturday night into Sunday morning and may be linked.
In the first incident, a 23-year-old man was on Wyle Cop just before 9pm when confronted by a man who asked for money. The stranger then pushed him against a wall but he managed to escape unhurt without having anything taken.
A short time later, a 33-year-old man was walking through the Quarry when approached from behind by two young men. One of them struck him on the back of the head causing a small cut which needed stitches at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Again, nothing was stolen.
The third incident happened at around 12.10am Sunday when an 18-year-old man was struck on the back of the head and knocked to the ground while walking in Woodfield Road.
He saw five men walking on the opposite side of the road just before being hit. One of the offenders picked up his mobile phone which he dropped while falling and another took his wallet, removing about £100.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "There are similarities between these three incidents and we are considering the possibility they may be linked.
"We are appealing for anyone who saw anything at any of the locations which might be connected, to contact Shrewsbury police station on 101. Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111."
