Search underway for missing Condover man
A police search was underway today around the village of Condover, near Shrewsbury after a 41-year-old man went missing from home last night.

Andrew Macauley left his home in Shrewsbury Road on foot and without a coat at 8.50pm.
Police conducted an immediate search of the rural area surrounding his home last night and officers, including a dog handler, resumed the search this morning.
Constable Stephanie Coombes, the investigating officer, said it was completely out of character for Mr Macauley to go missing.
"We are concerned for his safety especially with the snow and freezing conditions. His partner Gretel is extremely worried and she is urging him to get in touch and to come home.
"Police officers are concentrating their search around Condover, within a five mile radius of his home. It's thought he may have gone into the open countryside, crossing fields.
"We are very anxious to trace him and are appealing to anyone with information which might help to call Shrewsbury police station on 101 as a matter of urgency.
"In particular, we are urging people in the Condover area to check their outbuildings, sheds, barns and the like. Also, if a set of footprints is seen in isolation across fields in the area, please follow and check them out if possible."
PC Coombes said that although Mr Macauley was wearing several layers of clothing, including a jumper, he left home without a coat. He left his mobile phone behind.
He is described as a white male, six feet eight inches tall, of slim build with short shaved brown hair and with facial stubble. He was wearing blue jeans, walking boots, several t-shirts and a grey jumper.
