Police renew appeal for missing Shrewsbury man Simon Rothwell
Police investigating the disappearance of a man whose belongings were found beside the river in Shrewsbury have renewed an appeal for information one year on.

Simon Rothwell disappeared after a night out with friends and was last seen in Abbots Road, Monkmoor where he had been dropped off by a taxi at about 12.30am on Friday 3rd February 2012.
The alarm was raised at about 7.45am that same morning, after some of his belongings were found on the Underdale side of the Castle Walk footbridge, near the River Severn by a member of the public.
Several specialist searches were carried out in the weeks following his disappearance, including by the Severn Area Rescue Association, the West Mercia Police helicopter and the specialist underwater search team from Avon and Somerset Police.
However, despite these extensive efforts, Mr Rothwell has not been found.
Police Constable John Higgins, liaison officer for the 36-year-old's family, said they remained devastated by his disappearance, which was completely out of character.
"It has been a year almost to the day now since Simon went missing and his loved ones still do not know what happened to him," said PC Higgins.
"I am asking people to think back to early February last year, to whether they were in the Monkmoor, Underdale or Castlefields area during the early hours and might have seen Simon.
"He is white, about 5ft 8in in height and of stocky build with short, brown hair. He was wearing a dark jacket, beige cord trousers and black boots when he was last seen.
"If anyone has any information that might help our investigation to return Simon to his family, please contact police on 101."
