Woman dies as car leaves the road at Dunns Heath
A woman has died after the car she was driving left the road and collided with fencing and a tree.
The incident happened on the B5067 at Dunns Heath, Berwick shortly after 10.40am on Saturday morning.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a single car that had left the carriageway and had been in collision with a fence and a tree.
“The driver from the car was out of the vehicle and bystanders and police officers were found to be carrying out resuscitation attempts on the woman.
"Crews immediately assessed the casualty but despite best efforts nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
