Police warning to keep back doors locked following burglary
Police are reminding residents to keep front and back doors locked following a sneak-in burglary at Whitchurch.

Burglars were disturbed as they attempted to search a house in Wrexham Road at around 3.15pm yesterday.
One knocked on the front door and as the occupier went to see who was calling she saw a man rush past a window, acting suspiciously.
He left the garden and went back onto the street where he was seen waving his hand, possibly signalling to an accomplice.
The occupier then heard a noise from inside her house and heard the back door open. On checking, she disturbed a man in the kitchen who quickly fled the premises.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "It appears nothing was stolen and that two men may have been involved, perhaps intent on distracting the occupier to carry out a search to steal cash or valuables.
"It serves as a reminder that people should keep back and front doors secure, even when they are at home, both at night and during the day. This would deter an opportunistic thief who might seek to sneak-in to grab anything of value. It only takes them a moment or two.
"Also, we are appealing for witnesses who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Wrexham Road area at around 3pm to 3.45pm yesterday, to contact Whitchurch police station on 101."
