Agricultural hedgecutter stolen from Ludlow farm
Police today issued an appeal for information concerning the whereabouts of a large agricultural hedgecutter stolen from a farm near Ludlow.

They want to hear from farmers or contractors if they know of a yellow and black McConnel hedgecutter being offered for sale in dubious circumstances.
The machine, valued at around £29,000, was taken from a storage barn at a farm on the Earl of Plymouth Estate in Bromfield between 1pm on Sunday, February 10 and 10am the following day.
Police Constable PC Richard Dixon, the investigating officer, said: “The hedgecutter was dragged from its position in the barn and would have been loaded onto a large vehicle which appears to have then made its way back to the A4113 road along a track.
“It’s obviously a distinctive piece of farm machinery, identical in appearance to the one in the picture. It is a PA53 model with a detachable head section and has to be mounted on a tractor.
“If anyone is offered a hedgecutter like this on the cheap in suspicious circumstances, do not be tempted. Please contact Ludlow police station by calling 101 so we can check it out.”
Information can also be passed to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111, for which a reward may be paid.
