Telford Titans ice hockey team go viral with "Harlem Shake”
Ice Hockey team the Telford Titans have notched up over 7,000 YouTube hits after the team decided to jump on the viral video bandwagon with their own version of the "Harlem Shake."

The viral craze is taking the internet by storm with everyone from firefighters and soldiers to college students and office workers uploaded their own versions at the staggering rate of more than 4,000 per day.
In every 30-second clip, the concept is largely the same: an individual boogies solo in the midst of disinterested bystanders, until, on the cue of the words “Harlem Shake,” the video cuts to the whole group dancing wildly.
The Titans team filmed their version in the dressing room at Telford Ice Rink following a game against Solway Sharks on Sunday.
The video went live on YouTube at 10pm on Sunday and within 24hrs had notched up over 4,000 views.
National media attention from a number of magazines including Loaded and Capital FM helped boost the popularity of the team’s video.
Telford Titans assistant coach, Paul Shuttleworth said: “It’s a great laugh and shows the spirit of the team, if we can hit 10,000 views we have recorded a special 3 minute version to upload.”
