Man appears in court charged with Shrewsbury and Telford burglaries

A man has today appeared in court charged with three burglaries in Shrewsbury and Telford.

Investigations into two burglaries in Mill Road, Meole Village and Ebnal Road, off London Road on Monday 18th February led police to arrest a 40-year-old man in Telford yesterday.

He was interviewed and later charged with both offences. He was also charged in connection with a third burglary in Ketley Bank that took place in November 2012.

The man appeared at Shrewsbury Magistrates’ Court and has been remanded in custody pending a further appearance on Monday 4 March.
