Wanted former Shrewsbury pub licensee hands himself in to police
A former Shrewsbury pub licensee sought by police in connection with an alleged theft from the pub he ran almost three years ago has handed himself in.

Following an appeal on BBC’s Crimewatch programme, John Cattermole attended Shrewsbury Police Station yesterday.
The 54-year-old was arrested on suspicion of theft and attempting to pervert the course of justice and has since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
A warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to answer bail in May 2010, having been arrested on suspicion of theft and attempting to pervert the course of justice the previous month when he reported that The Monkmoor pub, where he was licensee at the time, had been burgled.
Police Constable Jason Tierney, the investigating officer, thanked both the public and the media for their help in tracing Mr Cattermole.
“Mr Cattermole presented himself at Shrewsbury Police Station following appeals on Crimewatch and in other media and I wish to thank those who published those appeals and the members of the public who called in as a result,” he said.
