Telford & Wrekin Council is holding three consultation sessions this week as part of the borough wide review of on street parking restrictions.

Telford & Wrekin Council to hold street parking consultation sessions

The first session takes place tonight between 6-7pm at Lilleshall Cricket Club followed by another session at the same time tomorrow at Hadley and Leegomery Parish Council offices.

The third session is on Wednesday daytime between 9am and 6pm at Donnington Wood Lifelong Learning Centre.

Councillor Hilda Rhodes, cabinet member for Transport and Community Protection, said: “We don’t expect a huge amount of change as a result of this ongoing review but the emphasis is on freeing up more on street parking where possible.

“This review is aimed at ensuring parking restrictions and Traffic Regulation Orders in the borough are suitable for current traffic conditions.”

Details of the areas being reviewed can be seen at http://www.telford.gov.uk/tro and feedback is welcomed.
