Jewellery and items worth £7,000 stolen from Worfield home
Jewellery and other items worth more than £7,000 were stolen by burglars who broke into an isolated cottage in the village of Worfield, near Bridgnorth.

The breakin happened during daylight hours yesterday and police today issued an appeal for witnesses who may have spotted the burglars.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: “We would like to hear from anyone who spotted suspicious activity in the Worfield area yesterday which might be connected to this incident. The home was broken into between 12pm and 4pm.
“Some of the property stolen, especially the jewellery, is very distinctive and anyone offered such items for sale in dubious circumstances, should also contact Bridgnorth police station on 101.”
One of the items taken was a Victorian mahogany travel box containing glass perfume bottles.
The most valuable item was a ladies diamond cluster dress ring in 18ct gold, set with six main diamonds and multiple smaller diamonds.
Also stolen were two pairs of gold hoop earrings, two rotary ladies wristwatches on leather straps, an Omega ladies watch, two Victorian ladies fob watches and a Toshiba laptop.
