Teenager assaulted by man whilst walking in Dawley
Police in Telford are investigating after a 16-year-old was assaulted on Hinkshay Road in Dawley yesterday.

At just after 9.30pm, as the victim made his way home he walked past two unknown men in an alleyway near Mount Gilbert School.
One of the men asked the victim what he was looking at but the victim did not respond and kept on walking.
Suddenly the victim felt two hands on his shoulders and then, when he turned round to see who it was, he was punched full in the face by one of the men. The two men then immediately made off down the alleyway they had previously been standing in.
A police spokesman said:
“As a result of being punched the victim suffered bruising to his left cheek below his eye. However, he has been able to describe the two men he saw in the alleyway and which one punched him.
“The man that punched the victim is described as being black, around 30-years-old, roughly 5ft 9inches tall and as wearing a black ‘Helly Hansen’ jacket, black trousers and a black woolly hat.
“The second man is described as being white, around 30 years of age, approximately 6ft 4inches tall and as wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a black baseball cap and a ‘Burberry’ style scarf.
“Anyone with information about this incident, especially anyone who recognises either of the two men described by the victim, is asked to contact PC 1983 Brett Tyson on 101 or 0300 333 3000, quoting reference number 255N 040313.”
