The 33-year-old man was arrested as part of a police investigation following the death of 27-year-old Kimberley Russell from Blakemore, Brookside in Telford.

Miss Russell’s body was discovered after police officers forced their way into her home on Monday 11 February after a concern for welfare call.

The mum of two young boys was seven months pregnant when she died.

Police today said the man has been released from police bail without charge and the investigation into the death is ongoing.

An inquest was opened and adjourned until 21 May.
