Cross Street in Oswestry is due to reopen to traffic at 4pm this afternoon, following work to make the guttering on some buildings safe.
Shropshire Council says work has been completed to repair the guttering above the Red Cross shop and Co-Op Travel, and on the Dorothy Perkins building.
All scaffolding, other than above the entrance to Coral bookmakers, is due to be removed today.
