Vandals attack home of Elderly Bayston Hill resident
An elderly Bayston Hill resident has been left in a distressed state after vandals carried out a late-night attack on her home.

Lumps of concrete were thrown at the front door, smashing the double glazed panel.
The incident happened at a home in Parrs Lane between 11.30pm on Friday and 12.30am Saturday.
Constable Howard Lewis said: “A neighbour heard two bangs at around midnight going into the early hours of Saturday. Two pieces of stone edging were found under the front door.
“The door was extensively damaged and will probably need to be replaced. This was an act of criminal damage at the home of an elderly lady which caused considerable distress.
“The house is in a busy street, overlooked by other properties and I am appealing for information from anyone who spotted suspicious activity in the area, or has information about the identity of the offender.
“Contact Shrewsbury police station on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.”
