Laptop and cash stolen during Ludlow restaurant burglary

La Becasse in Corve Street was broken into between about 2pm on Monday and 6am on Tuesday.

An Asus laptop computer and cash were stolen, with the full amount of cash taken yet to be established.

The offender or offenders are believed to have broken in at the back of the building and a forensic examination of the premises has been carried out by police.

Police Constable Chris Young, who is investigating the incident, appealed for anyone who might have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact police on 101.

Information can also be passed on anonymously via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111, where a reward is sometimes offered.
