Man attacked during robbery at Wem flat
Detectives investigating a robbery in which two men attacked another at a flat in Wem town centre have appealed for witnesses.

The offenders knocked on the door of a flat in High Street at about 7.05pm on Monday 15th April 2013.
When the victim answered, they pushed their way inside and punched him repeatedly, demanding money before allegedly threatening him with a shard of glass from a mirror that was smashed in the initial attack.
The victim handed over about £100 in cash and the offenders ran from the scene. He suffered swelling and soreness to his face, a cut to his chin and grazing to his neck in the attack but did not need hospital treatment.
Detective Constable Al Dean, who is investigating the incident, said High Street was still busy with people at the time of the attack and somebody must have seen the offenders.
“After examining CCTV from High Street, the area was still relatively busy at the time and both men were quite distinctive in that they each had a dog with them when they left the flat,” he said.
“The victim was left with relatively minor injuries but was extremely shaken, as was his partner who witnessed the attack.
“If anybody knows who was responsible or who saw the two men in the High Street area between about 7pm and 7.20pm that night, please contact police on 101.”
DC Dean added that at this stage, police do not believe the attack was random and that the victim may have been targeted.
Both men were white, with one estimated to be in his 30s and the other in his late 20s.
The older man had a slightly stocky build, was about 5ft 4in to 5ft 9in in height and had very short or shaved, receding reddish hair, a slight beard and freckles. He was wearing a relatively smart dark-coloured top or jacket, jeans and shoes and had a ginger-coloured Staffordshire Terrier-type dog with him.
The younger offender was about 5ft 11in in height and of slim to medium build. He was wearing baseball cap and a hooded top with the hood up over the hat and dark tracksuit bottoms. He had what is believed to be a black Labrador dog with him.
Information can be passed to police on 101 or, for those who know something but do not want to be identified, via the anonymous and independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
