Craven Arms ambulance station is to be put up for sale as part of West Midlands Ambulance Service’s ‘Make Ready’ plans.

The programme has already seen the creation of two 24/7 fleet maintenance hubs where teams of Ambulance Fleet Assistants prepare, service and maintain the fleet of ambulances.

The hubs are based at Abella Business Park, Shrewsbury and in Wrekin Drive, Donnington. They serve a new network of Community Ambulance Stations which have replaced the traditionally owned ambulance stations in the county.

Craven Arms ambulance station on Ludlow Road is being sold for offers in the region of £200,000. As part of a sale West Midlands Ambulance Service wishes to retain a small part of the site for use as a small Community Ambulance Station.
