Police name Oswestry murder victim
Detectives continue to question an 18-year-old on suspicion of murder following the death of man following an attack in Oswestry.

Although formal identification has yet to take place, police believe the victim is Danny Jones, aged 21, of Chirk.
He died shortly after arriving at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital from a single stab wound to the abdomen, after police were called to the car park in Lord Street at about 8.20pm on Wednesday.
Mr Jones family have released a photograph of him but do not wish to make any further tribute at this time.
Detective Inspector Steve Tonks, who is leading the murder inquiry, said the weapon used in the attack was still outstanding.
“Searches are continuing in the Oswestry area for the weapon used, which at this time is believed to be a knife,” he said.
“Part of the car park remains cordoned off while those searches take place, along with a nearby address.
“The man arrested remains in police custody and will be interviewed further today.
“I am still keen to piece together the suspect’s movements between the time of the attack at about 8.10pm that night and when he was arrested at about 3am the following morning in Llansilin.
“Anybody with information who has not yet spoken to police is urged to get in touch with us on 101.”
