Police arrest suspected burglars following break-in
Two men have been arrested in suspicion of burglary after police were called to a house in Shrewsbury.

A member of the public phoned the police to report two men acting suspiciously in a garden in Lingen Close, Castlefields at about 12.50pm today.
Officers arrived at the scene within minutes and arrested two men on suspicion of breaking in to an outbuilding at the property.
Both have been taken into custody at Shrewsbury, where they will be interviewed in due course.
Inspector Keith Gee, from Shrewsbury Police Station, praised the person who immediately called in the suspicious behaviour.
“In this incident, thanks to the caller who reported it, we were able to dispatch officers immediately and they arrived within minutes, arresting two men at the scene on suspicion of burglary,” he said.
“Our Citadel initiative was launched in Autumn 2012 to tackle burglary across the counties covered by West Mercia Police and a big part of that is help from the public.
“By calling us immediately if you see anything suspicious, we have a good chance of either stopping a crime in progress or catching those responsible in the act.”
Update:
A 33-year-old man has been charged with burglary and also with receiving stolen goods in relation to a separate incident. He is due to appear before Shrewsbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 2nd May 2013.
