Police investigate attempted burglary in Donnington
Police officers in Telford are investigating after an attempted burglary in Donnington.

The incident occurred at an address on Kenwray Drive sometime between 5pm on Friday 1.30pm on Monday.
Thieves tried to break into the property by using a tool to lever open a wooden door at the rear. The thieves were unable to open the door any more than an couple of inches or so and therefore they were forced to flee the scene without managing to steal anything from the house.
Several hundred pounds worth of damage was caused to the door as they tried to lever it open though.
This incident once again shows how important it is for local people to ensure their doors and windows are shut before they go out.
If you are security conscious and always check your property before you go out there is no doubt you are far less likely to become a burglary victim.
Meanwhile, police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Kenwray Drive area of Donnington over the weekend, or anyone who may know who tried to break into this property.
