Police appeal for information on missing Shrewsbury man

Andrew Warren, aged 50, was last seen on May 17 and has not been in contact with his family since, which is described as highly unusual.

Mr Warren, who is of no fixed abode but local to Shrewsbury, may have been living rough in the town. A possible sighting may have been made in the Smithfield Road area on Wednesday May 22, but this is unconfirmed.

Police are keen to locate Mr Warren to ensure he is safe and well.

He is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. He is bald with a grey beard and has tattoos on his arms of a mermaid and the sun. He may be wearing jeans and a hoody.

Anyone who has information as to Mr Warren's whereabouts is asked to contact police in Shrewsbury on 101 quoting incident number 645s of May 24.
