Masked raiders target Shifnal convenience store
A Shifnal convenience store was today targeted by three masked men armed with axes.
The Spar store in Cheapside was targeted at 6am this morning as the store opened.
Two female staff members were tied up during the raid. The women who were unharmed during the incident were spotted by a member of the public who released them before raising the alarm.
The thieves made off with an unknown amount of cash and cigarettes from the store.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious at the Shifnal convenience store around the time of the incident is asked to call Shifnal police station on 101. Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
