Prince Harry makes surprise appearance at RAF Cosford Air Show
Large crowds attending the RAF Cosford air show were surprised to find out that one of the co-pilots in the Apache display team was Prince Harry.

Price Harry was selected as part of the display team for this summer and is said to be delighted to have been chosen.
The Apache team performs manoeuvres in the helicopter for spectators, demonstrating its superior flying ability.
Prince Harry, a co-pilot gunner currently serving with the RAF's 662 Squadron of the Army Air Corps, was selected from members of the squadron.
Lieutenant Colonel Tim de la Rue, commanding officer of 3 Regiment AAC - part of helicopter attack force in 16 Air Assault Brigade said:
"The display team, unlike some other display teams, is not a permanent assignment; rather it is drawn from a pool of suitably qualified and experienced, operationally ready, Apache aircrew and ground crew, and uses aircraft drawn from the operational Apache Squadrons"
The aerial display crew included Staff Sergeant Jamie Boakes, as pilot, Captain Phil Wilson and Captain Wales as the two front seat co-pilot gunners.
One of the key themes to this year’s Air Show is the celebration of RAF Cosford’s 75th Anniversary, the flying display will begin with a special flypast of aircraft associated with the history of the base.
