Jiggers Bank to reopen in July following stabilisation work
Works to stabilise Jiggers Bank which was closed to traffic in November following a rock fall is set to be completed in mid-July.

Telford & Wrekin Council has engaged local contractor McPhillips to complete the works, which include re-grading the rock face, earthworks, treatment of mine workings and coal seams, installing a catch fence, netting and anchors, drainage and landscaping of the site.
Councillor Richard Overton, Deputy Leader and cabinet member with responsibility for land instability in the Ironbridge Gorge, said: “We are keen to ensure that members of the public are fully aware of the scale and complexity of the works which have been undertaken and of the efforts being made to reopen the road as quickly as possible.”
