Georgia Williams Trust logo and identity launched
The Georgia Williams Trust today launched its official identity and logo – precisely a week after the community of Wellington gathered to celebrate Georgia’s life.

The logo has been approved by Georgia’s family and features a unique design that has been specially put together by Mark Berry, who represents AFC Telford United on the Trust board.
It includes an image of a ferret – Georgia’s nickname – and the Trust’s official slogan “Free Your Spirit – Join In”, which was devised by Georgia’s family.
The logo is royal blue and orange to reflect Georgia’s favourite colours.
“Free Your Spirit – Join In” reflects the energy and enjoyment with which Georgia lived her life, which included volunteering as part of AFC Telford United’s match day safety and playing an active role in 1130 Wrekin Squadron Air Training Corps.
Inspector Richard Langton, chairman of The Georgia Williams Trust, said: “We feel we have a wonderful, unique and moving logo that gives a very strong identity and very much keeps Georgia’s spirit alive.
“Georgia’s family are extremely pleased with what we have come up with and we hope that it will be well received by the wider community, including Georgia’s friends.”
The Trust aims to reflect Georgia’s life and interests by providing funding to enable young people in Telford and Wrekin to access outdoor sports and adventure and to encourage them to volunteer.
Trustees come from organisations that played a major part in Georgia’s life. They include representatives of 1130 Wrekin Squadron Air Training Corps, AFC Telford United, Ercall Wood Technology College, New College, West Mercia Police.
Georgia’s sister Scarlett and childhood friend Steve Millington are also trustees.
17 year old Georgia died at an address in Wellington last month and a man has been remanded in custody, charged with her murder.
