1,000 ducklings stolen from Whitchurch industrial park
Police are investigating the theft of 1,000 ducklings from Cheshire Game Supplies on the Sandford Industrial Park, Whitchurch.

The day-old mallard ducklings, worth about £1,500, were stolen from four sheds between 11.30pm on Friday and 5.30am Saturday.
It’s thought the thieves approached the sheds across a field from the Calverhall road.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said today: “We are appealing to anyone who spotted suspicious activity in the area late on Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday, to contact Whitchurch police station on 101.
“This is an unusual theft involving a large quantity of small birds. We would also urge people to make contact if they are offered day old duckling for sale in dubious circumstances.”
Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
