"There has been a slight increase in violent crime, comprising ten more crimes than last year, but we continue to work hard with victims to provide justice and reassurance.

"I would like to take the opportunity to thank the public for their support, as without their courage of standing together with us, we cannot deliver justice.

"A big thank you also to my staff, our partners, who offer tremendous support and to Volunteers, all who contribute to making Telford and Wrekin safer."
