Gang steal car during raid on home in Quatt
Police today issued an appeal for information after a gang of men broke into a country home near Bridgnorth, threatened the occupants and made off in their car.

It’s thought up to five men were involved in the burglary at a house in the Quatt area at around 9.40pm last night.
They were disturbed by the occupants after stealing the keys to a blue Audi A6 together with a Sony Vaix laptop and a briefcase containing about £100 and private documents.
As the Audi was driven off, the occupants were threatened as the rest of the gang made their escape in a black Volkswagen Golf.
Both vehicles were dumped a short time later in Star Street, Bradmore, Wolverhampton and recovered by police.
West Mercia Police have issued an appeal for information, especially concerning sightings of the Audi and VW Golf.
Detective Sergeant Andy Chatting said: “We believe the offenders are black and aged in their late teens or early twenties. They arrived at the house shortly after 9.30pm last night.
“The stolen Audi and the black VW Golf then travelled together at fairly high speed along the A454 towards Wolverhampton, passing through Shipley just before 10pm. We believe the vehicles were abandoned in Bradmore, Wolverhampton sometime before 11pm.
“We are appealing to anyone who spotted these cars in transit, or who saw a black VW Golf with a number of male passengers in the Quatt area around 9.30pm last night, to contact Shrewsbury police station on 101.
“Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers number 0800 555 111 for which a reward may be paid.”
DS Chatting added that threats of violence were made to the victims but no assault took place and no-one was hurt.
“This was a frightening experience and we are appealing for any information at all which might assist the investigation and help identify those responsible.”
