Police in Telford appeal to trace owners of jewellery
Police in Telford are appealing for information as they attempt to identify a number of items found on two men who were arrested yesterday afternoon.

The two men – who are both aged in their 30s and are currently in custody – were arrested a short time after an attempted burglary was reported in Hadley Gardens, Leegomery, Telford at just before 3.45pm on Monday 5 August.
Although nothing was stolen from the property in Hadley Gardens as a pet dog alerted the homeowner there was an intruder, when the two men were stopped nearby by police officers one of them was seen to throw away a bag which was then recovered.
The bag contained several items of jewellery and police suspect the items do not belong to the two men.
Officers have today released images of two of these items and would like to hear from anyone who believes the items actually belong to them.
It is possible they have been taken in the past couple of days and that someone is yet to realise they are missing.
Detective Sergeant Jon Taylor said:
“We would like to hear from anyone who believes they may recognise the items we have released images of today as we have concerns the items may have been stolen.
“Among the items we want to identify are a gold or yellow metal ladies Sekonda watch and an unusual, circular design necklace.
“If anyone recognises these items and believes they may belong to them, I would ask that they contact us immediately.
“We can be contacted by calling 0300 333 3000 and quoting incident number 289S 050813.
“Alternatively, information can also be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
