The Granddaughter of an elderly couple injured during an incident at a Shrewsbury car park has appealed for an off-duty nurse who helped at the scene to come forward so she can be thanked.

Allan and Audrey Platt, who are both in their 80s, were seriously injured after a grey Hyundai Matrix reversed out of a parking space and collided with the couple before reportedly dragging Mrs Platt several metres and colliding with other parked vehicles.

The driver of the car, a woman, was uninjured.

Rachel Platt, Granddaughter of Allan and Audrey Platt this morning appealed via twitter for the nurse to be found so she could be thanked for her help.

The incident happened at the Co-op off Bank Farm Road, Radbrook, Shrewsbury at around 10.30am on Saturday.

If you are or know the nurse who helped at the scene please call us on 01743 818095 or email interact@shropshirelive.com.
