Witnesses sought following altercation in Dawley
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an altercation involving two dog owners in Telford.

The incident occurred in the fields next to Mount Gilbert School on Hinkshay Road in Dawley on Thursday.
At around 6.15pm, a man in his 30s was walking his dog across the fields when he decided to let it off its lead.
At around the same time a woman in her 40s was walking her dog in the same area and at some point it appears the two dogs began barking at each other.
A significant verbal altercation then took place between the man and the woman about the behaviour of the dogs and this altercation became very heated.
A police spokesman said:
“It is not exactly clear what happened during the course of this altercation and therefore we are very keen to trace independent witnesses who may have seen the man and the woman as this disagreement took place.
“We would ask anyone who may have witnessed this disagreement to call us as soon as possible so we can establish the exact circumstances around it and what offences may have occurred.
“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police in Shropshire on 101 or 0300 333 3000, quoting incident number 377S 080813.
“Alternatively, please remember that information can also be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
